We return to the jobsite a few seasons later.
The skilled laborer wields a sharp chisel
to persuade the pre-cuts into place.

Bay #1 up and squared. All timbers were
prepared off-site to match the footprint
of the as-built sill.

The Timberlinx Fastening System was used
for the majority of the joints in the load
bearing (big beam) structure.

The connections at each post use braces and
struts to stabilize the structure. Note the
holes for the Timberlinx pins.

Every timberframe project needs an Aussie.
Not sure if he had a work permit, but he got
some new Carhartts out of the deal.
